10月8日，此前在四川瀘定地震中失聯17天的泄洪英雄甘宇出院了。
「他恢復得挺好，精神也挺好。」甘宇母親表示，獲救住院後甘宇胖了5斤，左腳背皮下的釘子異物取出後恢復良好，醫生說不會留下後遺症，「其他的傷還得繼續休養一陣子才能好。」
甘宇的堂哥甘立權介紹，甘宇現在走路還需要藉助拐杖和輪椅。他稱，甘宇計劃先回瀘定公司處理工作事宜。
On Sept5 when the earthquake struck Luding, Gan and his colleague chose not to evacuate but remain at their posts at the hydropower station, saving villages downstream from being flooded. His colleague was rescued on Sept8.
The 28-year-old had lived alone for 17 days in the wild before a villagerfound him on Sept21.
