11月25日，GE醫療無錫基地正式下線了第五代超聲平台的全身超聲系列，這既是GE高端超聲系列產品中第一款全球首發中國製造的醫療設備，也是GE超聲落地最快的新產品，從研發到上市僅用了14個月時間。

The GE Healthcare Wuxi Base located in the Wuxi National Hi-tech District (WND) successfully launched a locally-produced whole-body ultrasound machine series on Nov 25. This is the first China-made medical device in GE's high-end ultrasound whole-body product series to be released in China initially, then globally. Thespeed of GE Healthcare’s ultrasound product launching in China, taking only 14 months to go from R&D session to market entry,has now surpassed that of the company’s other bases aroundthe world.

值得一提的是，以往GE新品通常先在歐美市場首發，這是首次在中國市場首發。在研發過程中，GE醫療聯手無錫本土醫療機構以期實現精準的定製化需求，比如在無錫市人民醫院經過了3個多月的臨床研究，並根據收集到使用反饋意見，改進了一些設計細節，滿足了中國客戶的臨床實際需求。

Previously, new GE Healthcare products were usually first rolled out in the European and American markets, and this was the first time that they weredebutedin the Chinese market. To meet personalized requirements of Chinese customers, GE Healthcare teamed up with local medical institutions in Wuxi for product improvement. For example, it conducted three months of clinical research at Wuxi People’s Hospital to collect feedback and refine design.

未來五年，GE醫療將在無錫持續加碼國產創新投資規模，新增億元級研發投入並新引進10餘款高端醫療設備進行本地化生產，構建集研發、生產為一體的超聲和生命關愛類產品中國總部。

The group said it will invest more on innovation in Wuxi over the next five years, addingover 100 million yuan ($15.69 million) in R&D investment and introducingmore than 10 pieces of new high-end medical equipment for localized production. It wants to build a headquartersfor integration ofR&D and production of ultrasound and life care products.

近日，江蘇省生產力促進中心正式發布《2021年蘇南國家自主創新示範區獨角獸企業和瞪羚企業發展報告》。

The Jiangsu Productivity Center recently published the 「2021 Development Report on Unicorn and Gazelle Enterprises in the Sunan National Innovation Park」. A unicorn company isa start-up worth at least $1 billion thathas yet to go public while a gazelle company refers to an enterprise that has overcome a depressing time and entered a fast-growing period. The innovation park is an industrial park jointly constructed by the Suzhou Industrial Park andeight high-tech industrial development zones in southern Jiangsu province including the WND.

無錫高新區迪哲醫藥、微導納米2家企業首次入選獨角獸企業名單，占全市50%，入選數居全省單一園區第一；6家企業入選潛在獨角獸企業名單，占全市30%；36家企業入選瞪羚企業名單，占全市66.7%。獨角獸企業、潛在獨角獸企業、瞪羚企業入選數均居無錫首位。

Dizal Pharma and Jiangsu Leadmicro Nano-Technology located in the WND arelistedfor the first time as unicorn companies, accounting for half of the city’s total, and the number of listedcompanies is greater than those among all othersingle parks in the province. The WND also has six potential unicorn companies and 36 gazelle startups on the lists, accounting for 30 percent and 66.7 percent of the city’s total. WND companies on the three lists outnumber those of all other areas in Wuxi.

本次入選企業更多是以硬科技為主要推動力，高新技術企業比例高達90.9%，分布於集成電路、生物醫藥、智能製造等多個賽道，聚焦產業關鍵領域持續發力。

The WNDcompanies, 90.9 percent of which are High & New-Technology Enterprises, are mostly driven by hard technology. They focus on key fields such as integrated circuits, biomedicine, and intelligent manufacturing.

從科技型中小企業到「瞪羚」「獨角獸」企業，再到科技上市企業，高新區不斷完善創新型企業培育體系，強化創新型企業梯隊建設，集成資源，精準發力。

The WND has continuously improved itsmulti-layered innovative enterprise cultivation system which includes high-tech small and medium-sized enterprises, gazelles and unicorn companies, as well as listed tech companies, and provides strong support according to their growth needs.

近日，從國家發改委網站獲悉無錫市城市軌道交通第三期建設規劃（2021-2026）已獲得批覆。

The third phase of the Wuxi urban rail transit construction plan (2021-26) has been approved, according to the website of the National Development and Reform Commission.

無錫市城市軌道交通第三期建設規劃將建設4號線二期、5號線、6號線等3個項目，線路總長59.8公里。其中，地鐵4號線二期、5號線都將途徑新區。

The third phase includes the Line 4Phase II, and lines5 and 6, and has a total length of 59.8 kilometers.The Line 4 Phase II and Line 5 will both pass through the WND.

地鐵4號線二期

線路接軌4號線一期博覽中心站，沿震澤路、新華路敷設，止於錫士路站。該線路的建設連通蘇南碩放國際機場，將進一步支撐機場樞紐打造，提升機場集疏運能力，助力蘇南碩放國際機場「做大做強」。

Metro Line 4 Phase II

The line is connected to the Expo Center Station of Phase I of Line 4, runs along Zhenze Road and Xinhua Roadand ends at Xishi Road Station. Linked to Sunan Shuofang International Airport, it will elevate the airport’s collector-distributor service level and enhance its role as an air hub.

地鐵5號線

線路起於唐城站，終於新韻路站。該線路主要沿無錫主城區東西大客流通道敷設，向東預留了遠景與蘇州地鐵銜接的條件，有利於打造「軌道上的長三角」，對促進區域一體化融合發展有着積極作用。

Metro Line 5

The line starts at Tangcheng Station and terminates at Xinyun Road Station. Itis mainly laid along the east-west passenger flow passage in the main urban area of Wuxi, and has reserved spaces in the east for future connection with the Suzhou Metro, an arrangementconducive to creating a "Yangtze River Delta on the track" and likely to have apositive effect on promoting development of regional integration.
