5月18日和19日，中國歐盟商會主席伍德克、秘書長唐亞東應邀現場出席在北京舉行的中國國際貿易促進委員會（貿促會）建會70周年大會。
伍德克主席在會上發言時強調，鑑於新冠疫情給全行業帶來的前所未有的影響，加速深化市場開放對重振中國經濟具有至關重要的作用。伍德克主席就新冠疫情防控政策提出建議，從而在採取有效措施、儘可能降低疫情給人民安全健康造成風險的同時，幫助中國繼續打開國門。
伍德克主席向中國貿促會會長任鴻斌呈遞了中國歐盟商會近期發布的《中國新冠疫情防控政策和俄烏戰爭對歐洲在華企業的影響》和即將發布的關於碳中和的報告。

Chamber President and Secretary General Attend CCPIT 70th Anniversary Conference
On 18th and 19th May, European Chamber President Joerg Wuttke and Secretary General Adam Dunnett attended the 70th anniversary conference of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) in Beijing.
In a speech delivered during a panel session, president Wuttke stressed that, given the unprecedented negative impact that COVID is having across all industries, faster and deeper market opening will be essential to revitalise China’s flagging economy. President also made recommendations on the COVID-19 containment measures to help China minimalise the health risks posed by the pandemic while opening further.
President Wuttke also presented the Chamber’s flash survey on the impact that COVID-19 and the war in Ukraine is having on European business, as well as the forthcoming carbon neutrality report, to President Ren Hongbin of the CCPIT.
