英國皇家化學會無機化學領域期刊Dalton Transactions 將於 2022 年11月10日（北京時間 23:00；格林威治標準時間 15:00）舉行免費的線上研討會，由 Dalton Transactions 編委會主席、聖安德魯斯大學Russell Morris 教授主持，邀請Dalton Transactions編委會成員、烏普薩拉大學 Sascha Ott 教授以及一位年輕科學家、墨西哥大學Ilich Ibarra 博士講述最新科研進展。

主講題目：Electron hopping charge transport and molecular electrocatalysis in metal-organic frameworks

Sascha Ott obtained his PhD in Chemistry at University College London, U.K., in 2002, followed by a postdoctoral spell with Profs. Björn Åkermark and Licheng Sun at Stockholm University, Sweden. In 2004, he moved to Uppsala University, where he became chair professor in Synthetic Molecular Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry – Ångström Laboratory in 2017. Research in the group is centred on different topics at the interface of organic chemistry and molecular inorganic chemistry. These include works on low-coordinate and low-valent phosphorus in an organic chemistry context, and the development of molecular redox catalysts of energy relevance, more recently on molecular electrocatalysis in the confinement of metal-organic frameworks. He is the recipient of a Consolidator Grant from the European Research Council (2015).
